Uppity Old Women

"You're just being an uppity old woman!" I was told recently. Without missing a beat, I said: Well, thank you!" beaming brightly. "If what you mean by uppity is a woman who knows her mind, isn't afraid to have—and state—her opinion, or be herself as she moves through the world. Then, thank you!"

Society isn't always kind to women of a certain age. But as a conscious crone, I flip the script. An Uppity Old Woman knows her mind, carries her experiences with grace, and needs no one's approval to shine.

You've seen a lot in life--from setbacks to moments of pure joy and times of deep reflection. Every experience has sculpted you into a woman with a strong, unwavering sense of self. You're not easily swayed by fleeting trends or the opinions of others. Instead, you stand firm in your beliefs. This isn't being stubborn; it's about being true to yourself.

Those wrinkles and that silver hair are badges of honor. Your experiences weave a story of courage, resilience, and growth. You've navigated the complexities of life, learned from your mistakes, and come out stronger on the other side—every time. Your wisdom is a beacon for those around you, offering guidance and perspective only years of living can provide.

Gone are the days when you sought validation from others. You've reached a point where your self-worth is defined by your standards, not society's narrow expectations. You're not afraid to make bold choices, whether it's in your career, your personal life, or even your style. You dress for yourself, speak your truth, and pursue your passions with a fiery determination. You've got a life to live, and you're doing it on your terms.

Too often, older women are expected to fade into the background, to become invisible. But not you. You stand tall, radiating confidence and authenticity. You voice your opinions, take up space, and make your presence known. Whether it's through your art, your activism, or simply your everyday interactions, you leave an indelible mark on the world. You're a force to be reckoned with, and you revel in your power.

Being an Uppity Old Woman isn't just a phase, nor is it a slam. It's a celebration of who you are and who you've become. It's about owning your narrative, celebrating your journey, and inspiring others to do the same. So, to all you conscious crones and Uppity Old Women out there, I say this: embrace your power, your wisdom, and your unapologetic self. The world needs your voice, your vision, and your vigor. And let's face it, bold and brilliantly authentic women make life infinitely richer for themselves and for those wherever their light shines.

Let's celebrate the audacious, the unapologetic, and the inspiring women who aren't afraid to show the world exactly who they are! Can't find that mojo? Let's find out together. Come join me at WonderCrone.com
